An Australian-funded paediatric surgery team assisted local medical staff to provide much-needed health services to kids in Luganville and Port Vila.
The team conducted 13 operations - six at the Northern District Hospital and seven at the Vila Central Hospital a few weeks ago.
Each year several Australian-funded medical specialist teams come to Vanuatu to develop skills of ni-Vanuatu medical staff and help save lives.
