Vanuatu's Ministry of Health has confirmed the country has 210 dengue fever cases.
RNZ reports this comes after over 1,000 suspected cases had been reported.
The Health Ministry has started a media blitz to encourage the public to report to the nearest health centre when a person is suspected to be sick with dengue.
A dengue zero tolerance campaign was launched last month.
