Vanuatu is getting ready to stage its National Games from November 25 to December 4 as it prepares to host the 2017 Pacific Mini Games.
Samuel Taffo of VBTC Sports says, hosting of the National Games has been delayed and the number of sports reduced to 8 due to financial issues.
He says some of the more than 200 athletes to be sent to China to train for the Pacific Mini Games will be selected from the National Games.
