23 year old, Zara Andre could not believe her luck when she was informed of her 1,000,000VT win in the Digicel Mega Cash promotion in Vanuatu.
Chief Information Officer of the Office of the Government (OGCIO), Gerard Metsan pulled out Zara Andre’s name, making her the lucky winner of 1,000,000VT with Digicel.
When contacted, Zara said that “I still can’t believe that I won 1 million vatu!
It’s such an incredible prize to be given by Digicel. You should have seen me on the phone when
I was informed! Happiness indeed is receiving great news and being the lucky one. I give many thanks to Digicel.”
Digicel CEO, Yaser Maher handed over the prize in the Digicel Port Vila store on 9th September, 2016. Mr Maher said, “We were pleased to bring such a promotion to Vanuatu and I am extremely delighted to share in the happiness with Zara”

Digicel is still trying to contact a few other winners including the 1 of the millionaires, 5 winners of 100,000VT and winners of 10,000VT. Customers need to ensure that their phones are switched on so that they can be contacted.
