Vanuatu Police Force is requesting the public’s assistance to recapture prison escapee, Paul Hendry Mofet.
Mofet, who has been described as ‘high risk escapee’, escaped from lawful custody at the Correctional Centre around midnight on Saturday, 16 December.
Police say according to reports from the Correctional Centre, Mofet is believed to be using a Digicel phone number 5755915.
VPF is appealing to the general public, members of Mofet’s families and friends to report to the Police if they have any information of his whereabouts or if he is seen around the community at this time.
The public is warned that is against the law to harbour a prisoner.
